How Much Does Starting An Online Business Cost?

How much does it cost to start an online business? In this episode of building a online business from scratch, I’ll be breaking down the tools I’ve used and the only three tools you need to get started.

With all the different kinds of tools to choose from, it can get really confusing as to where to start. In this video I’ll walk through a lot of tools and options I’ve used over the past few years including lessons learned so you can avoid some common mistakes.

Now before you choose your tool, it’s critical you start by clearing defining what you want to accomplish with the tools you are buying. Yes, you want a online business that makes money, but when you are just starting out it’s important to be strategic on what tools you purchase and how you spend your time.

Tools should speed up your online business building, not slow you down. There are only a few things that you absolutely NEED to purchase to get started. In this video you will learn the only 3 things you need to purchase to get started:

1) Domain
2) Autoresponder
3) Webpage

When you are just getting started, you have one job: GROW YOUR LIST. That is it. Weather your buying traffic, engaging or social media, or producing content, your job it to collect e-mail addresses. As soon as you have a system for growing your list you can spend all the time in the world creating fancy websites, growing your social profiles, and running webinars.

As your business grows, so will your tools. However you don’t want to get stuck spending $300 a month on a bunch of sites and software when your not making any money. I’ve been in that situation and it is a very unpleasant one and it can wind up costing you something more valuable than money; time.

Since I’ve gone through this unpleasant experience multiple times, I’ve made this video for you in the hope that you can avoid the same mistakes, get up and running more quickly, and of course, save some money in the process .
What is really important to remember is you always get what you pay for. The lower your budget, the more time and personal effort you are going to have to put in to be successful. Here are the three different budgets we will talk about in the Video:

Option A: $175
Option B: $350
Option C: $550

Have more money? Great! Don’t spend it! You’ll want to use that cash on advertising, but more on that in another video. Here is the list of recommended tools to get you started:
